Multi Sports Club for people aged 16 + with learning disabilities

About Us, who we are . . .

We formed this club in November 2004 with support from the then Hampshire County Council's County Development Officer for Disability Sport, Peter Hull, MBE.

We offer opportunities for people with disabilities to try out a variety of different sports and activities, with appropriate levels of support.

We have achieved Clubmark accreditation, to ensure that the club is run to the highest standards. www.clubmark.org.uk This was renewed 2018 for the third time.

We have a CAT Mark award: The CAT Mark is a mark of quality, awarded by young people, for any organisations providing services to young people. Being awarded a CAT Mark shows a commitment to providing a good-quality service, which successfully meets the needs of all young people.

We are affiliated to the Royal Mencap Society and need to have good policies and procedures in place to continue this connection.

We use qualified coaches to run sessions, supported by volunteer helpers.
